History
Möhring Energie’s journey began 15 years ago when Sascha Möhring, following his degree in industrial engineering, set up the first solar plants on his doorstep after contributing to build wind and biogas plants around the world.
From the serene town of Busenwurth on the North Sea coast, Möhring EnergieServices expanded, developing solar parks and wind farms across northern Germany under the soon to be added Möhring Energie Holding umbrella company. By the early 2020s, the company extended its projects to Ukraine and, since 2021, Möhring Energie has also been active in Morocco through its subsidiaries Möhring Energie EPC and Möhring Energie Maroc. In Morocco, the focus lies on the construction of PtX plants for the production of green hydrogen and its (more transportable) derivatives. Möhring Energie also designs and builds the power-generating PV and wind plants, storage systems and water desalination plants for sufficient and sustainable water supply for the plants and the surrounding communities. All of this is achieved in close collaboration with our extensive network of technology and plant suppliers.
