The Möhring Energie Group is an owner-managed renewable energy company headquartered in Dithmarschen and Hamburg. We develop, build, and operate solar and wind farms, battery storage systems, and power-to-X facilities. Our goal is to drive the energy transition forward—both in northern Germany and through our international projects.
Since 2010, we have developed more than 23 wind and solar farms in northern and eastern Germany with over 500 MW of installed capacity, many of them as community-owned energy projects. Since the early 2020s, we have been operating internationally: initially in Ukraine, in Morocco since 2021, and now also in Mauritania and Brazil.
We cover the entire project lifecycle: project development, EPC, financing structuring, operation and maintenance, asset management, and repowering. For PtX projects, this also includes electrolysis and synthesis plants, seawater desalination, and the establishment of off-take and logistics structures. Learn more under Services.
Green electricity comes from renewable energy facilities. Green molecules are produced as RFNBO as defined by RED III, with a greenhouse gas reduction of at least 70 percent compared to the fossil fuel baseline. Our products are not climate-neutral, and we do not offset any emissions. You can find the full definition here.
