Project description
NexTerra is one of the large-scale Power-to-X projects in North Africa—developed by Möhring Energie in strategic partnership with local stakeholders in Morocco. The goal is to produce green hydrogen and green derivatives for export to energy-intensive EU markets as a contribution to industrial decarbonization.

- approximately 20 GW of installed solar and wind power capacity
- Multi-stage modular electrolysis system with a final capacity of 10 GW
- Seawater desalination for hydrogen production, powered by the project’s own renewable energy generation
