Möhring Energie generates renewable electricity at its own solar and wind farms, integrates battery storage, and develops systems for producing green molecules. For municipal utilities, we combine PV and storage, supplemented as needed by electrolysers that capture surplus electricity and convert it into hydrogen for storage.

Green Ammonia – gNH₃ (under development)
- Production using the Haber-Bosch process with green hydrogen and nitrogen from the air
- A raw material for the chemical and fertilizer industries, used as a substitute for fossil-based ammonia
- Serves as both a transport and storage medium for hydrogen (cracking possible at the destination)
- An established method of transporting hydrogen by sea—using existing port and shipping infrastructure—where no pipeline is available

Green Methanol – gCH₃OH (under development)
- PtX Product for Decarbonizing the Chemical and Logistics Industries
- Feedstock for e-fuels, particularly eSAF
- Can be used as marine fuel in existing dual-fuel engines
