Möhring Energie is a medium-sized, owner-managed group of companies with northern German roots and an international outlook.
We have been designing, building and operating renewable energy systems and storage solutions for over 15 years – as project developer, EPC partner, investor and operator.
Today, we are also using our expertise to drive forward green hydrogen and ammonia solutions, including large-scale PtX projects in Morocco for export to the EU.

History
Möhring Energie’s journey began 15 years ago when Sascha Möhring set up the first solar plants on his doorstep after helping to build wind and biogas plants around the world following his degree in industrial engineering.
Starting from the tranquil town of Busenwurth directly on the North Sea coast, Möhring EnergieServices set up solar parks and wind farms throughout northern Germany under the soon to be added Möhring Energie Holding umbrella company. At the beginning of the 2020s, projects were also added in Ukraine and, since 2021, Möhring Energie has also been active in Morocco with its subsidiaries Möhring Energie EPC and Möhring Energie Maroc. In Morocco, the focus is on the construction of PtX plants for the production of green hydrogen and its (more transportable) derivatives. Möhring Energie also plans and builds the power-generating PV and wind plants, storage systems and water desalination plants for sufficient and sustainable water supply for the plants and the surrounding communities in cooperation with our extensive network of technology and plant suppliers.
