For over 15 years, Möhring Energie has been actively shaping the energy transition. What once began in Dithmarschen with rooftop solar systems has evolved into an internationally active corporate group that implements photovoltaic, wind power, and energy storage solutions, as well as production facilities for green hydrogen and its derivatives—from northern Germany to Ukraine, Morocco, Mauritania, and Brazil.
Our mission: comprehensive, one-stop solutions. From site development through planning, construction, and operations to power purchase agreements and asset management, we support projects throughout their entire lifecycle.
This is how we develop, build, and operate facilities that generate and store renewable electricity. This process produces molecules that can replace fossil fuels in industry, shipping, and aviation, as well as in fertilizer production.
Our Services: We cover every phase of your renewable energy or PtX project—project development, construction, operations and maintenance, financing structuring, and asset management.
What we mean by “green”:
Green electricity and/or green energy come from renewable energy plants—primarily from our own PV, wind, and biogas plants, as well as from our project partners’ facilities.
Green molecules are produced as RFNBO (Renewable Fuels of Non-Biological Origin) in accordance with EU RED III and Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/1184: from additional renewable generation, with temporal and geographical correlation, and with a greenhouse gas reduction of at least 70 percent compared to the fossil fuel benchmark, in accordance with Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/1185.

- Photovoltaics (PV): Development, Construction, and Operation of Ground-Mounted Solar Farms
- Wind Energy: Development, Construction, and Operation of Onshore Wind Farms
- Energy Storage Solutions: Design and Integration of Battery Storage Systems for Grid Stability and Self-Consumption Optimization
- Power-to-X (PtX): Development and construction of facilities for the production of green hydrogen and its derivatives, such as ammonia, methanol, and eSAF
- Seawater Desalination: Planning and Construction of Water Supply Systems for Electrolysis Sites in Arid Regions

SOLAR
Photovoltaics – From Ground-Mounted Farms to PtX Integration
Photovoltaics is a key pillar of our energy projects. We plan, build, and operate ground-mounted solar farms—either as standalone facilities or as hybrid solutions that include battery storage and integrated hydrogen production.
