Möhring Energie part of Foreign Minister Wadephul’s business delegation
Busenwurth / Berlin / Rabat, April 30, 2026 – Our founder and CTO Sascha Möhring accompanies Federal Foreign Minister Dr. Johann Wadephul and Parliamentary State Secretary Stefan Rouenhoff on their state visit to Morocco as part of a high-ranking German business delegation.
The delegation, organized by the Federal Foreign Office, the German Embassy in Rabat and the AHK Morocco, brought together leading German companies with Moroccan decision-makers from business, politics and administration. The program included company visits, a market briefing by German institutions and strategic talks with Moroccan ministries.
For Möhring Energie, the participation was more than just a political signal. With five years of active presence in Morocco and ongoing discussions on our large-scale PtX project NexTerra in the Tarfaya region, it was above all an opportunity for Sascha Möhring to deepen existing relationships – including with the Minister of Investment Karim Zidane, the Institute for Renewable Energies IRESEN and the Moroccan Agency for Solar Energy MASEN.
The trip has shown once again: The strategic foundation between Germany and Morocco is solid. We would like to thank the team from the Federal Foreign Office, the German Embassy and the AHK Morocco for the excellent organization and look forward to continuing the constructive dialogue at all levels.
